Sister style to this season’s Anabasitte jumpsuit, Kiwi is a summer romper available in several beautiful cotton prints! This particular style is made of beautiful dead stock cotton. It has front pockets, a flap over the bust, and it closes with a back invisible zipper.
Dead stock is fabric that was produced for sale to manufacturers but was either over-produced or simply didn’t sell for any number of reasons. We use a lot of dead stock at Birds, and I've always liked looking for these fabrics not only because I can find unusual things, but also because I’m able to use up some of the fabric that already exists in the world without having to create more ‘stuff'.
